What This Gathering Holds
On the first Saturday of each month, Be Love Give Love collaborates with Plarning Angels for a beautiful day of giving back to our community.
What’s Plarning?
“Plarn” stands for plastic yarn! We recycle plastic grocery bags and crochet them into durable, waterproof sleeping mats for those experiencing homelessness. How cool is that?
No crochet experience? No problem!
There’s something for everyone to do—from folding and cutting the bags to creating the plarn. All it costs is your time and your heart.
If you’ve been looking for a simple, impactful way to give back, we warmly invite you to join us.
It’s a time of connection, laughter, love, and purpose.
✨ If you have them, please bring plastic grocery bags, scissors, a size 9 crochet needle, and of course—your beautiful self. ✨
Once we complete 10 mats, they will be donated to Mama Moses: The Underground Railroad, who will distribute them to those in need right here in our area.
